OpenGEU LinuxOpenGEU,
previously known as Geubuntu, is an Ubuntu-based desktop distribution
from the Italian artist Luca D.M., which combines the power of GNOME and the beauty of
the light-weight Enlightenment 17 into an eye-catching,
friendly and efficient
desktop.
OpenGEU
runs fast and is perfect for any Desktop, Laptop PC or even for a Virtual Machine.
In OpenGEU you can find a classic Ubuntu set of applications mixed with those provided and created from and for E17.
More details can be found at the OpenGEU website.
Please
note: E17 is beta software, it's still in development, so it may
react in a non-expected way for no apparent reason at any time. This won't make your entire system freeze or shut
down. You'll almost always be able to recover E17, so your work will be relatively secure and OK, but always remember that E17 is still
in beta development, so it's impossible for OpenGEU to provide a 100% stable version of this distro until a stable
version of E17 is released.
